Precipitation measurement instruments

This Typing bucket rain gauge is the R.M. YOUNG vision of the regular typing bucket rain gauge.The massive use of UV stabilized thermoplastic materials provides an high resisstance to environemental conditions  with usuaul accuracy and reliability of R.M. YOUNG products.

The precipitation gauge without moving part allows measurement of precipitations on mobile installations like boats, vehicles, measurement buoys…It is based on a capacitive gauge  with self syphoning of the measurement tank. It provides a 0-5 VDC voltage output.

Very compact, easy to use and simple to install, the snow height sensor is based on ultrasonic technology to measure the height of snow in one place. Durable and efficient, output voltage can encode a height of snow up to 10 meters.
